Yesterday was the first day of my new job!! After much anticipation, and the most extensive background check you could possibly do on me, I finally got thrown back into the working world. Spending most of the summer unemployed was fun for about two weeks...then the paychecks stopped coming and I ran out of things to do around the house!! A little over a month ago I applied for a job at the local sprint store, and just now I finally got to start.
I'm really excited and although I have only worked there for one day, I haven't stopped talking Nick's ear off! They are spoiling me already as much as they can with all sorts of goodies. The part that I am most excited about is my desk. I have never had a desk before at any job, so I spent two hours on my first day cleaning and organizing, and making it my own! I can't wait to get back tomorrow and get my uniform and business cards and all the things that make me official. If any of you need a new cell phone just let me know!!!
Nick and I are going on a mini vacation at the end of the month right before my birthday(that hopefully everybody has written down) to go and visit my sister!! Katy and Bennett have invited us down and planned out a big birthday weekend for Nick and I in West Virginia. We are soooo excited to get there and just can't wait to see everybody. They are supposedly going to teach us how to be true Mountaineer fans!

Nick isn't invited anymore if he EVER talks about "that game" around me. But you can come out here, Sierra!!
Thank god you finally got your job situation worked out...it seriously took eighty years to get hired there. But two pee tests later...look where you are today. :) Having your own desk for the first time is really exciting...I totally get you.
LOL. I remember getting a job with a desk as well! And my first business cards! Congrats! It is exciting to make big changes like that. I hope you continue to enjoy it.
Krista
Congrats on the new job!
I can't believe that you would even think about becoming a WV fan - what a traitor! If you're not going to cheer for Michigan at least pick a winning team and "Call the Hawgs"!
Aunt Vicki
I was beginning to wonder about you and those "pee" tests! Or were they doing a background check and discovered your mom sells t-mobile? Hope you have fun in WV---can't believe you are going to be 20! Seems like just yesterday your aunts nicknamed you "the nazi baby from hell"!
Mom
Hey...I never called you that. Maybe a few other things but never that!
Aunt Vicki
Yeah, I guess I never "actually" heard Vicki call you that (it was auntie gayle) but her names are unprintable. lol
I always referred to you by your given name - Satan - oh I mean Sierra. Although I always got a kick out of your sibs asking you to spell brat, and you would say S I E R R A. Ya'll were just the cutest kids.
Congrats on the job, I hope school is going good.
I expect to see blog updates and pictures from all three of you when you get back from WV.
Michigan State Spartans RULE.
Does Michigan State have a football team?
Paul said "like mother, like daughter" when he read that you talked Nick's ear off. He's off my christmas list!
September 9th was a long time ago...I'm pretty sure you have had something happen in your life that you could talk about. :)
At least post a picture of your dog/cat/boyfriend/new desk at work. Come on lady!!
Hope your new job is going well. It must be keeping you pretty busy... I forgot to ask if you got a comfy chair with your new desk...
Would love to see more posts. I know, I am a "blogstalker" but at least I leave comments. : )
Krista
So what are your plans for Thanksgiving?
Aunt Tricia was asking me if you're back "from the real world" yet...
I'm beginning to wonder the same thing.
Seriously getting lost in the real world is insane! COME BACK!
